JALIA KIZITO

I am a doctorally-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with dual master’s degrees in nursing and social work. With a holistic approach, I collaborate with clients to diagnose and treat Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, Substance use disorders and Trauma/PTSD.
Using individualized treatment plans, I offer medication management, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and alternative treatments using evidence-based practices. My experience is with Transitional Age Youths (TAYs) ages 16- 28, adults < 65, as well as parents and caregivers of clients who suffer from psychiatric disorders.
If you or a family member are suffering from mental illness, you are not alone. I believe that we all have some sort of mental illness. Some have it more than others; hence require planned interventions. I am here to support you as needed.
